Coin Mech on Ideal Slider

I have an Ideal Slider with the Frankinstine coin mech. Which way do you turn the key to open this type of unit up. Counter clockwise or Clockwise? I can pick most regular locks but have never tried the round key ones for vending machines. Thought I would give it a shot but would be helpful if I knew which way to turn it.

I'm think it's counter clockwise. I just drilled mine out. Soda Jerks sell the same one.
