Pepsi sign v90 help
« on: January 13, 2014, 05:00:02 PM »
Bought a V90 that was originally a Pepsi Machine and somewhere along the line was repurposed as a coke unit. The Pepsi sign was taken out as you can see and a Coke panel glued into the hole (which didn't stand up to time) I searched the web and found a pic of the correct part but now need to know if anyone has one for sale. tks Bart

That will be a tough one to find. It's a very early square corner vendorlator model - apx 1962 as it juts-out at the bottom. I don't have one but did locate one for a machine I used to own. It took a long time but I found it on Ebay of all places. You could fabricate one out of 1/4 " pexiglass with some nice decals. Sandwich the decals between the 1/4" pexiglass and a very thin piece of pexiglass. It's at least an option and it can look nice- I've done it before. use a piece of white pexiglass for the main piece- it will let enough light through. Good luck.
