I'm restoring v-39 and want to know experience regarding insulation to place in machine. Should I just use house insulation with paper on one side or try to use another type of insulation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Rod

I have been using a rigid closed cell insulation which is available in various thicknesses in 4 X 8 sheets. It takes some time to cut and fit it but it is well worth te effort. I also use fiberglass batt insulation to fill the gaps after the tub is re-installed and also in the main door. Steve @ sodajerkworks provided this tip to me and it has worked well.
