Cavalier 102

Produced in the 1950's by the Cavalier company the Cavalier 102 is basically two Cavalier 51 machines back to back. My guess is that these models would have been placed in high traffic areas such as ball parks, amusement parks, large cafeterias, and other high volume locations. This machine is unique in that it can vend from both sides. Like the Cavalier 51 the 102 has a unique belt driven vending mechanism. Like all the other Cavalier machines this machine was produced exclusively for Coca Cola.

The bottle doors, coin bezel, and bottle cap removal bezel are typically chromed.

The earlier models were produced in the typical "all red" design. After 1956 all new models were painted red with a white top to market the "Ice Cold" and "Refreshing" image.

All Cavalier-102 models came with the words "Drink Coca-Cola" embossed on the top. On the bottom in bold letters "ICE COLD" was embossed.
