Dixie-Narco Machine Timeline (1960s–1970s)
Dixie-Narco is a big one, since they eventually became the dominant Coke vending machine maker from the 1960s onward (later merging into Crane). Their machines were the workhorses of supermarkets, gas stations, and schools, especially as cans took over.

Dixie-Narco is established in Williston, South Carolina, specializing in vending machines.
1966
DN Series 300
One of the first Dixie-Narco upright bottle vendors. Durable, electric cooling system.
1969
DN 350/360
Early high-capacity upright bottle and can machines. Popular in supermarkets.
1972
DN 400 Series
Improved reliability and bottle/can flexibility. Helped Dixie-Narco dominate vending in the 1970s.
1975
DN 500 Series
Introduced modular design for easier servicing. Large 500-capacity machine.
Late 1970s
Expansion
By the late ’70s, Dixie-Narco had become the largest U.S. vending machine manufacturer, with models in nearly every Coke territory.
