- The Walrus "Blizzard" is a "Self-Serve" Cooler that utilized 75lbs. of cracked ice for refigeration. I believe this cooler as well as its smaller sister cooler, The Blizzard , are made from wood. The top frame and lids; however, are made from bronzed aluminum. The cooler came in tow color choices: blue or tan. The Walrus Cooler is VERY scarce too!
