Comments: The Cavalier C-51 used a unique vending mechanism that many referred to as an "ammo belt". Each bottle has its own tube it slides into and as the belt moves down each time the next bottle becomes available from the bottle door. There were a couple of different styled bottle doors produced over the years and the early machines were all red with "Ice Cold" along the bottom of the cabinet door. These machines usually has an aluminum kickplate whereas the C-51G(pictured below) lacked this. The C-51 is considered a fairly common machine of the 1950's and can be found quite readily.
