- The Walrus "Blizzard" is a "Self-Serve" Cooler that utilized 35lbs. of cracked ice for refigeration. I believe this cooler as well as its larger sister cooler, The Walrus , are made from wood. The top frame and lids; however, are made from bronzed aluminum. The cooler came in tow color choices: blue or tan. The Blizzard Cooler is VERY scarce!
