Archive documentation notes that Seeburg known for their Jukeboxes built from the 1930's into the 1960's and beyond.
However, not many people know that they also built soda machines! To the best of our knowledge, they built very few models and it wasn't until their acquisition of Choice Vend Manufacturing in 1960 that you can say their soda machine line greatly expanded. During the late 1950s and early 1960s, Seeburg acquired several other companies in related coin-operated fields of vending, amusements, and musical instruments. A couple noteworthy acquisitions where: Lyon Industries in 1959, the Choice Vend Company in 1960, Cavalier Corporation in 1963, Arthur H. DuGrenier, Inc. in 1964 as well as Williams Electronic Manufacturing Corp. and United Manufacturing Co. during the same year!
