Victor Machine Timeline (1930s–1970s)
Victor made some of the most recognizable slide-top chest coolers for Coca-Cola, especially in the 1940s–1960s. Unlike Vendo or Cavalier, Victor specialized in horizontal ice-cooled, and later electric chest machines (often found in gas stations and grocery stores).

One of Victor’s first small chest coolers. 27-bottle capacity, ice-cooled.
1940
Victor C-31
Compact ice chest cooler, popular in rural stores before WWII.
1946
Victor C-45
Post-war return to production. Larger 45-bottle chest cooler.
1948
Victor C-60
Streamlined “round-top” design. Highly collectible chest cooler.
1951
Victor C-81
Larger chest cooler, often seen in diners and service stations. 81-bottle capacity.
1955
Victor C-102
Big chest cooler. Designed for high-volume retail stores.
1958
Victor C-200
Massive capacity model, sometimes double-door. Grocery-store sized.
1960s
Victor Chest Series
Final production decades for Victor-branded coolers. Still ice-based, less popular as electrics dominated.
1970s
End of Victor Coolers
By the 1970s, Victor’s chest-style Coke coolers were phased out as upright vendors became standard.
